Domande per non uniformarsi ai luoghi comuni.
Domanda: perché oggi in generale nella nostra società neoliberista e in particolare nella Chiesa è quasi impossibile parlare dei poveri e dei meccanismi che li creano?
Papa Francesco incita continuamente ad essere pastori in mezzo al gregge e non capi del gregge, proprio per sentire “l’odore delle pecore”.
Don Tonino Bello, grande vescovo, morto prematuramente, richiamava la Chiesa per esigenze evangeliche, a far proprio il potere dei segni e non adottare e praticare i segni del potere: la “Chiesa del grembiule”. Perché non fosse una “povera Chiesa” ma una “Chiesa povera”.
Oggi molti rappresentanti della gerarchia della Chiesa e varie associazioni laiche a lei legate sono contrarie alla linea di papa Francesco. Vari sono gli atteggiamenti che li contraddistinguono, dalle manifeste denunzie, alle mormorazioni contrarie o silenzi premeditati in merito alla sua predicazione, sostenendo una tradizione unicamente preconciliare e antievangelica.
Come può ancora sussistere questo tipo di Chiesa di fronte a fatti inaccettabili, come la denuncia fatta all’inizio dell’anno dalla associazione inglese Oxfam nel suo rapporto sulla povertà, dove si afferma che otto miliardari hanno un reddito pari alla metà della popolazione mondiale, 3.6 miliardi di persone. Come si può parlare di esclusione sociale, di lotta al terrorismo, di pace tra i popoli se una notizia come questa è finita nel nulla o nell’assuefazione mediatica?
Chi ne parla, la politica?…
Ecco i nomi degli otto miliardari: Bill Gates, Amancio Ortega, Warren Buffett, Carlos Slim Helu, Jeff Bezos, Mark Zuckerberg, Larry Ellison e Michael Bloomberg.
A riprova che l’attuale sistema economico-finanziario mondiale continua peccaminosamente a favorire l’accumulazione di risorse nelle mani di pochi nababbi ai danni dei più poveri, in maggioranza donne.
Ciò evidenzia come le multinazionali e i potenti continuino ad alimentare l’esclusione sociale, facendo ricorso all’evasione fiscale, massimizzando i profitti comprimendo verso il basso i salari e usando il loro potere per influenzare la politica e finanziare l’economia.
Il sistema è incentrato su investimenti di denaro che generano denaro e poi ancora denaro a non finire. Con il risultato che l’economia reale, quella della ricchezza prodotta dal lavoro, è di fatto soppiantata da quella finanziaria.
Basti pensare che l’import-export di beni e servizi, a livello mondiale, è stimato intorno ai 17 mila miliardi di dollari l’anno, mentre il mercato valutario ha superato abbondantemente i 5.000 miliardi al giorno!
Ecco che allora, alla prova dei fatti, nel mondo circola più denaro in 4 giorni sui circuiti finanziari che in un anno nell’economia produttiva reale.
Credo che sia urgente, utile e necessario iniziare a disaffezionarsi da tutto ciò che è personale e scoprire giorno dopo giorno l’aspetto collettivo, la contiguità e l’interazione, solo così possiamo dare un contributo a questa nostra società incancrenita dall’egoismo e dall’egocentrismo, e accettare la sfida del “NOI”.

Questions not to conform to common sayings
Question: why is it impossible to talk about poor people and what mechanisms create them in our neoliberal society and especially inside the Church.
Pope Francis continuously encourages people to be in the herd and not the shepherd, in order to smell the “scent of the sheep”.
The Bishop Don Tonino Bello, who died prematurely, blamed the Church for evangelical reasons, in order to make it acquire the power of the symbols and not to practice the symbols of the power: the “Church with the apron”. All of this in order not to be the “humble Church” but a “Church of humbles”.
Today many representatives of the Church hierarchy and various non-religious associations connected to it are against Pope Francis position concerning this issue. There are plenty of different attitudes that distinguish them, from the complaints, to the muttering or the calculated silence towards his preaching, supporting a pre- Council and anti-evangelical tradition.
How come that this type of Church in the face of these unacceptable facts, as the statement from the English Oxfam at the beginning of the year on its relation to poverty, that claims that eight billionaires have their incomes even to half of the world population, 3,6 billions of people.
The names of the eight billionaires are: Bill Gates, Amancio Ortega, Warren Buffett, Carlos Slim Helu, Jeff Bezos, Mark Zuckerberg, Larry Ellison and Michael Bloomberg.
To prove that the current world economic and financial system keeps favoring the collection of the resources in the hands of few nabobs causing the loss of the poorest, in most cases women.
This underlines how the multinationals and the powerful keep on increasing social exclusion, resorting to tax evasion, maximizing profits, decreasing salaries and using their power in order to influence politics and finance the economy.
The system focuses on investments of money that generate unlimited amount of money. With the result of the real economy, the one concerning the richness produced by the work of people, is indeed overthrown by the financial one. One can only think about the import-export of goods and services, on a global level, it was estimated around 17 thousand billions of dollars annually, while the currency market amply outdated 5 billion per day.
To prove this, in the world circulates more money in four days in the financial system than in the real and productive economy.
I think that it is important, useful and essential to start to alienate ourselves from everything that is personal and to discover day after day the collective perspective, the proximity and the interaction, only in this way we can help our society entrenched in selfish and egotistic, and accept the challenge of “US”.
