Non mi serve un Dio buono…
\nsempre pronto a perdonare…
\nnon mi serve un Dio crudele..
\nsempre pronto a giudicare..
\nnon mi serve un Dio potente..
\nsempre pronto a comandare..
\na me serve un Dio operaio
\nche permetta di sperare …
\nche quel lampo negli abissi..
\nquella luce fra le stelle…
\nquella musica d’estate …
\nquella voce di mia madre…
\nquel suicidio per amore..
\nquel tumore di un bambino..
\nquel dolore di esser brutta..
\nquella smania di esser sani….<\/p>\n

a me serve un Dio modesto…
\nche permetta di vedere..
\nche permetta di capire..
\nche la gioia di esser nati..
\nche il dolore di morire ..<\/p>\n

E’ una nenia senza fine ..<\/p>\n

una luce fra le stelle
\nuna lama d’assassino.
\nuna musica d’ estate
\n..e’ la voce di mia madre
\nil tumore di un bambino
\n..quello schiaffo per rapina..<\/p>\n

a me serve un Dio concreto..
\nche permetta di accettare…
\nche quel pesce andato a male.
\npure il peto irriverente..
\ntutto \u00e8 l\u00ec a dimostrare..
\nche la storia del Dio buono
\nc’entra poco con la colpa,
\nc’entra poco con le guerre,
\nc’entra poco con la pace..<\/p>\n

a me serve un Dio concreto..
\nche permetta di accettare
\nche il mistero della vita non ha nulla da svelare.<\/p>\n

which allows me to understand \u2026<\/p>\n

that the joy of being born \u2026<\/p>\n

that the pain of dying \u2026<\/p>\n

a light among the stars<\/p>\n

a murderer\u2019s blade\u2026<\/p>\n

a music in the summer<\/p>\n

the tumour of a child<\/p>\n

\u2026 that slap for robbery ..<\/p>\n

I need an actual God\u2026<\/p>\n

which allows me to accept …<\/p>\n

that that fish gone bad\u2026<\/p>\n

even the irreverent fart \u2026<\/p>\n

everything is there to prove ..<\/p>\n

that the story of the good God<\/p>\n

has little to do with fault,<\/p>\n

has little to do with wars,<\/p>\n

has little to do with peace\u2026<\/p>\n

I need an actual God…<\/p>\n

which allows me to accept<\/p>\n

that the mystery of life has nothing<\/p>\n

to reveal.<\/p>\n
